Overview of the Network Solutions Analyst role
The Network Solutions Analyst will be a vital member of the Wayspring Network Solutions team, reporting directly to the Vice President of Network Strategy.
As an Analyst, you will help to create and deliver insights into SUD provider network performance and the value of care delivery. These learnings will help inform health plan client strategies to drive improved care outcomes, and to guide Wayspring’s internal operations priorities. Your contributions will help our team to deliver meaningful data on what is working in SUD care across multiple state markets, and you will help to refine our analytical toolkit and build a scalable model as we grow.
The role will provide growth opportunities for personal and career development including regular interactions with senior leadership at Wayspring and working across departments to help develop insights that are clear and grounded in national care standards in the rapidly evolving addiction treatment landscape. While the individual will work primarily within the Network Solutions team, the role will also interface directly with key business functions including Market Operations, Clinical Operations, Enterprise Solutions, Actuary, and Growth.

Responsibilities of the Network Solutions Analyst
The individual should be a highly motivated self-starter who is comfortable taking ownership of projects at a fast-paced and rapidly growing company. The Network Solutions Analyst is responsible for translating complex behavioral health and substance use disorder (SUD) claims data into actionable insights that inform network strategy, payer recommendations, and care quality improvement. Partners closely with clinical, operations, analytics, and product teams to identify cost drivers, utilization risks, and opportunities to improve appropriateness of care across SUD populations. Responsibilities will include:

Analyze large-scale medical and pharmacy claims data to identify cost, utilization, and quality trends across outpatient, residential, PHP/IOP, MAT, and ancillary SUD services.
Detect and quantify provider-level outliers, inappropriate utilization patterns, and potential FWA concerns (e.g., service stacking, excessive per-diem billing, abnormal LOS, drug testing overuse).
Develop and maintain scalable monitoring tools, dashboards, and scorecards (Power BI, Excel, SQL-based workflows) to support ongoing network oversight and growth monitoring.
Produce client-ready analyses, presentations, and summary materials that clearly communicate findings, financial impact, and recommended actions to payer and internal stakeholders.
Collaborate cross-functionally with BI, product, and operations teams to automate workflows, improve data accessibility, and ensure analytic outputs are operationally usable.
Requirements & Preferred Qualifications

Ideal candidate has 1-3 years of work experience in investment banking, consulting, healthcare analytics, or other comparable setting
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, including a mastery of Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to translate complex analyses into executive-level insights
High sense of ownership, intellectual curiosity, and comfort working in ambiguous, evolving problem spaces
