About Us
InStride Health’s mission is to deliver specialty anxiety and OCD care that works for every kid, teen, young adult, and family who needs it. Through this mission, we are expanding access to insurance-based care, increasing engagement in treatment, and improving treatment outcomes. We are doing this by combining research-backed clinical care and innovative technology to eliminate the major problems with care today: difficulty finding providers, months of waiting to be seen, arduous onboarding processes, and inconsistent use of evidence-based therapies and outcomes tracking. Our vision is to become the nation’s most trusted provider of pediatric anxiety and OCD care.
Team InStride Health: Our Core Values
- Give Heart: We lead with heart, treating patients and their families the way we want our loved ones to be treated.
- Work Smart: We find smarter ways to solve hard problems and fix the broken mental health system by leveraging technology, diversity of thought, and innovation.
- Have Humility: We leave our egos at the door, empowering our team to collaborate, celebrate diversity, and adopt a growth mindset.
- Embrace Community: We all belong. We are in this together, and we never worry alone. We believe in each other and recognize that every voice matters.
About the Role
InStride Health is entering an exciting period of rapid growth. We are looking for a Territory Manager to support our efforts in establishing and expanding partnerships with healthcare providers across New York City.
In this entry-level role, you will focus on the foundational execution of our growth strategy: identifying potential partners, introducing them to InStride’s mission, and providing high-touch service to existing referral sources. You will work under the guidance of senior growth leaders to learn the nuances of healthcare business development while serving as a key face of InStride in the community.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Outreach & Awareness: Conduct daily outreach to pediatric practices, primary care offices, and school providers to introduce InStride’s services.
- Relationship Support: Maintain a consistent check-in cadence with established referral partners to ensure they have the materials and information they need.
- Pitching & Presentations: Confidently deliver InStride’s value proposition to clinical staff and referral coordinators.
- Event Execution: Assist in the planning and execution of local community events, webinars, and regional conferences to increase brand awareness.
- Data Management: Maintain records in our CRM to track outreach activity and referral trends.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Clinical and Admissions teams to ensure a "warm handoff" for referred families.
- Market Feedback: Gather and communicate referral partner feedback; partner with Product, Engineering, and Client Success to improve the referral experience and InStride’s solutions.
What You Need to Succeed in the Role
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in healthcare outreach, customer-facing roles, sales, or healthcare operations.
- Communication: High empathy and excellent verbal communication skills; you enjoy meeting new people and building rapport.
- Organization: Strong "follow-through" skills. You can manage a high volume of tasks and keep a CRM organized without things falling through the cracks.
- Growth Mindset: A desire to learn the complex New York healthcare ecosystem and motivated to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Location: Based in the New York City metropolitan area with a willingness to travel locally for provider visits and events.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable learning new digital tools, including CRM platforms and data reporting dashboards.
The expected annual base salary for this role is $80,000–$90,000. Actual starting salary will be based on skills, experience, and other factors. In addition to base compensation, this role offers a target performance-based bonus.
Why Join Our Team
