Location: Remote (US-based)
Duration: Short-term contract (Immediate start through October 25, 2026) (Full-Time, 40 hrs/week)
Pay Rate: $30.00 / hour
HR Systems & Payroll Data Specialist
About the Role: Equip is seeking a detail-oriented HR Systems & Payroll Data Specialist Contractor to execute the final phase of our HRIS transition from ADP to Rippling. Working directly with Human Resources and Payroll teams, you will systematically extract, audit, and organize historical personnel records, payroll reports, and signed compliance documents into Rippling and Google Drive, ensuring our systems remain accurate, seamless, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
Extract and archive historical employee records, tax filings, payroll summaries, and signed legal agreements from ADP’s read-only database.
Map, upload, and structure data accurately within Rippling and designated Google Drive directories.
Perform rigorous quality control and data auditing to guarantee total record integrity and compliance across systems.
Maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Protected Health Information (PHI).
Track migration progress and deliver clear status updates to Payroll and HR leadership.
Qualifications
2+ years of HR operations, administrative, or data coordination experience.
Hands-on experience with both ADP and Rippling platforms (HRIS and payroll data migration experience strongly preferred).
Demonstrated expertise in data auditing, file management systems, and Google Workspace administration.
Deep understanding of HR record retention compliance, PHI privacy standards, and PII confidentiality protocols.
Proven track record of working effectively in a 100% remote environment.
Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight project deadlines.
Physical Demands Work is performed 100% from home with no requirement to travel. This is a stationary position that requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards as well as to talk or hear by telephone. Sit or stand as needed.
