Cortica is looking for a temporary Accountant to assist its’ accounting team while the staff accountant is on medical leave.
As Accountant, you will be a key member of the Finance team and have responsibility for all general accounting activities. This is a great opportunity for an individual to be part of a fast-paced.

What will you do?
- Month end close activities including preparing monthly reconciliations and posting monthly accruals
- Post daily cash transactions and maintaining bank account reconciliations on a weekly basis.
- Post bi-weekly payrolls
- Assist the company in making purchases for our clinics.
- Manage the company’s bank accounts and making transfers as needed.

- You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- You have excellent skills using MS Office.
- You have strong skills using and understanding the flow of transactions in an integrated and automated accounting system.
- You have the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
- You have excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- You have strong organizational skills.
- You have the ability to work under pressure, handle and prioritize multiple tasks, and meet all deadlines.
- You understand appropriate preparation of monthly journal entries, month-end closing activities and assigned account reconciliations. Preparation/distribute detailed reports as needed.
- You are proficient in Excel.
- You have a general understanding of accounting.
- You are experienced using Intacct Accounting Software (preferred).
- You have prior Healthcare Experience (preferred)
- You are occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl; reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
Your Compensation & Benefits
The base pay range for this opening is $25/hour to $32/hour. According to your skill level, relevant experience, education level, and location, you will receive compensation that fits appropriately within the range.
